The Building
This barn-style building was built in 1928 and served for decades as the town lumber supply yard. While horse-drawn traffic prevailed, Ford’s infamous Model T’s would frequent 209 East Lemon Street to load up on lumber supplies. The old Train Station is just across the street and would replenish the lumber supply weekly. Today, the train station is a museum, which is a nice venture out while waiting for your car to be serviced. After the building boom was over, the lumber yard closed its doors and was reborn as a silk flower warehouse until the late 1980s.

Family Owned and Operated
Pinellas Auto Radiator & AC opened its doors in 1986 in a smaller building down the street at 444 E. Lemon. After a few years of growing the company through Paul and Darlene’s expertise and providing honest and reliable service, they bought 209 East Lemon Street in 1991 and expanded their business. The whole family and extensions of the family helped to transform this very original lumber building into an efficient automotive repair facility. They plan to continue improving the business and service the town as a local “Mom and Pop Shop” while providing expert repairs, excellent customer service, and value to our customers.
